Born and raised in Philadelphia, I grew up with an interesting mix of music
industry and farm life. My dad, a traveling musician, has been bringing me out
on stage with him since I was eight. My mother, a horse trainer, surrounded me
with horses and random farm animals since before I could talk. Apparently the
traveling musician won out over the farm girl and here I am taking the big step
into the fabulous world of television!
After getting married in 2006, I began to pursue music fulltime; traveling to singing gigs on the
weekends and working for my musician father-in-law at Wilbur Ministries (a
non-profit ministry in Florida). After my trip to Hollywood on Season 8 of
American Idol, my eyes were opened to the fun and excitement of TV and it was
love at first sight!
