I looked the part.

I just didn't drive very well.

The slowest driver during the Pro Sign & Design Mini Van feature on Saturday at Susquehanna Speedway Park?

Me.

But I still didn't finish in last place.

Here's proof:

Pro Sign & Design Mini Van Feature (10 laps):  1. Al Kessock; 2. Anthony Roberts; 3. Zakari Kitner; 4. Donny Groff; 5. Tom Hartman; 6. Jason Bristol; 7. John Kitner; 8. Daryl Sipe.

FEATURE LAP LEADERS: Sipe (1-3); Kessock (4-15).

Sipe is the former world champion, by the way. He came in eighth.

Click the video link to see how it all went down.

I also want to thank the following people: Todd and Rhonda Fisher (owners of SSP); Jeremy Haines (allowed me to use his 43H minivan and let me borrow his gear); Donny Groff(provided the 43H with a little jump start before the race); SSP track announcer Pete Haines; my mentor and pit area-mate “Terrific” Tommy Hartman; as well as Dave Zortman of FASTRAX video for capturing the whole thing.

Oh yeah, I also have to pass along a very special thanks to Daryl Sipe and John Kitner for getting flat tires!
