Soccer Shots is hosting a youth soccer clinic at Skyline Sports Complex on City Island on Friday, prior to the Harrisburg City Islanders' game against Rochester.

The clinic is for children ages 2-8. There is a suggested donation of $10 to attend the clinic to benefit the Places to Play Program. The clinic runs from 3:45 to 4:45 pm.

The program, founded by the U.S. Soccer Foundation, seeks to improve the health and well-being of children in urban and economically-disadvantaged areas by using soccer as a vehicle for social change.

The Soccer Shots franchise community has pledged to donate $20,000 to Places to Play this year through new child registrations.
