Last year, it was for Ben Witter and his daughter Gabbie.

This year, its for others battling cancer.

The 2nd annual Take a Swing for Ben & Gabbie golf tournament this weekend will benefit Jennifer Horst's Love, a charity which provides funds for families battling cancer -- money that can be used for a trip, for example. The goal of the charity is to provide those families with 'A Day Free from Cancer.'

The tournament is Monday, October 15, at Lebanon Country Club in Lebanon.

Witter, a world-renowned golf trick shot artist, will hold a special trick shot show on Sunday, October 14 at 5 p.m. (Note: I accidentally said Saturday on the news. Had my days mixed up! - JB)

The show will also feature long drive champions Carl Wolter and Brett Cleverdon.

It's an amazing exhibition. I was able to watch it last year and its great for all ages.

The show, also at Lebanon Country Club, is free; however, a donation is suggested. For more information, contact Fairview Indoor Golf Center at (717) 274-8648.
