GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Maryland's Alyssa Thomas and Duke's Chelsea Gray are the Atlantic Coast Conference's women's basketball players of the year.

Duke's Joanne P. McCallie and Maryland's Brenda Frese also were selected Thursday as the ACC's coaches of the year.

The league announced voting results from two groups - a panel of media members and school representatives, and the 12 coaches.

Thomas was picked by the reporters and school reps, and she and Gray were named co-players of the year by the coaches.

The panel chose McCallie for the coaching award, while Frese was selected by her colleagues.
