HARRISBURG, PA - Juan Centeno and Allan Dykstra each drove in three runs to lead the Binghamton Mets past the Harrisburg Senators in a 7-2 win Sunday afternoon at Metro Bank Park.
The B-Mets pounded out 15 hits in the rubber match, securing their second straight series victory.After stranding four runners through the first two innings, the B-Mets struck against starter Paul Demny in the third. Binghamton started the big frame with three straight singles, capped by Allan Dykstra's RBI base hit to right.
A walk to Jefry Marte loaded the bases and set the table for Juan Centeno. The B-Mets catcher ripped a 2-0 pitch into the right field alley and cleared the bases with his second triple of the season.
Jimmy Van Ostrand drilled a pinch-hit homer for Harrisburg in the seventh inning.
