LANCASTER -- Should the Lancaster Barnstormers win another Atlantic League title, the team will have a lot to quack about.
Lancaster will meet the Long Island Ducks in the best-of-five league championship series, which begins Wednesday at Clipper Magazine Stadium.
The series will be decided in Long Island; games three, four and five will be played at Bethpage Ballpark, located in Central Islip, New York.
The Ducks defeated the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs in the Liberty Division Championship Series, while Lancaster Barnstormers swept the two-time defending champion York Revolution in the Freedom Division Championship Series.
