District 3 issues Hurricane Sandy contingency plan for soccer

HARRISBURG -- When Hurricane Sandy hits, District 3 believes it will be ready.

PIAA District 3 officials have announced a contingency plan for its soccer championships if bad weather postpones games on Monday and/or Tuesday.

Monday's games will be moved to Wednesday, October 31; while Tuesday's games will be pushed to Thursday, November 1. If games are postponed, all district championship and consolation games will be played on Saturday at Hersheypark Stadium and other sites.
