Harvey's big blast helps Barnstormers beat Ducks 5-1 in game one

LANCASTER -- Ryan Harvey drilled a three-run home run and Dwayne Pollok threw six shutout innings in the Lancaster Barnstormers' 5-1 victory over Long Island in game one of the Atlantic League championship series.

Game two is Thursday night at Clipper Magazine Stadium.

Pollok (2-0) gave up four hits while walking two and striking out five. He did not allow a runner past second base.Over his four starts versus the Ducks during the 2012 campaign, Pollok had been 4-0 with a 1.03 ERA in 26 1/3 innings of work.

Harvey finished 3-for-4. He has hit a three-run blast in each of Lancaster's last two playoff games.

Kody Kirkland also homered for Lancaster.
