HARRISBURG -- The Harrisburg Heat is in the process of building an arena soccer field at the PA Farm Show Complex -- with an assist from a team in San Diego.

The Heat purchased the field -- and everything that goes along with it -- from the San Diego Sockers, another club in the Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL). Harrisburg plays its first-ever home game in the PASL on Saturday.

Heat employees spent Thursday unloading rolls of carpet; later connecting each large piece of turf.

The Sockers logo still appears in the middle of the field, but it will be replaced with a Heat logo in time for the first game. San Diego no longer needs the field after moving to the Valley View Casino Center.

Workers at the Farm Show also peeled off old advertisements from San Diego-area sponsors from the dasher boards.

Harrisburg faces Cincinnati on Saturday at 7 p.m.
