Horizon newcomer Grubbs scores 30 in 153-100 win over Bayraiders

HARRISBURG -- Pat Grubbs made an immediate impact Sunday for the Harrisburg Horizon.

The 6'9" center from Pitt-Johnstown tallied 30 points and pulled down 12 rebounds in Harrisburg's 153-100 victory over the Maryland Bayraiders at Manny Weaver Gym.

Jerren Harris, who played at Millersville, added 27 points for the Horizon (1-1), of the Eastern Basketball Alliance (EBA). Former Lebanon Valley College player Anthony Trautman scored 20.

Maryland (1-1) is coached by Ollie Matson, Jr.; son of the late Pro Football Hall of Famer who played for the Cardinals, Rams, Lions and Eagles.

Harrisburg hosts the New York Primetime on Sunday, February 24.
