HARRISBURG -- Harrisburg native Danny Lansanah has reportedly agreed to terms with the New York Jets for 2013.
The linebacker hasn't appeared in an NFL game since 2008, when he was a member of the Green Bay Packers. He has also attended training camps with the Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphins, respectively.
He worked out for the Jets on Friday.
The 'future' signing was first reported on Twitter by SNY's Jake Steinberg. A Jets official could not confirm the move; however, Lansanah has retweeted many congratulatory posts on his Twitter feed.
Lansanah had been playing for Las Vegas of the United Football League until the league shut down in October.
He was originally signed by Green Bay as a non-drafted free agent in 2008 after being named first team All-Big East at Connecticut.
The Jets also placed cornerback Aaron Berry from Bishop McDevitt on injured reserve on Friday.
