Bucknell is back atop the Patriot League, but injured Lehigh star and preseason All-American CJ McCollum will likely be just watching from the bench again when the conference tournament starts Wednesday.

Lehigh coach Brett Reed said Monday that McCollum is getting healthier after breaking his left foot in early January. The school had said recovery could take eight to 10 weeks.

Reed has also said that McCollum's long-term future would also be considered. The high-scoring guard has been considered a potential first-round pick in the NBA draft.

Reed says he's preparing for the tourney opener Wednesday against Colgate with the team he had the last few months - without McCollum on the court.

Top seed Bucknell hosts Navy. Bison center Mike Muscala was named conference player of the year.
