WALPOLE, Mass. (AP) - The owner of two Massachusetts pubs says he's temporarily changing their names to eliminate the word "Raven" and replace it with "Patriot."

Mark McAuliffe owns The Raven's Nest in Walpole and The Mad Raven in Waltham, but says he's been told by his regulars they won't go near them in advance of Sunday's AFC championship game between the New England Patriots and the Baltimore Ravens.

So on Monday, he put up new signs, changing the names to The Patriot's Nest and The Mad Patriot.

He did the same when the teams played in the AFC title game last year, and tells WBZ-TV (http://cbsloc.al/13zvkay ) it boosted business at the Walpole pub, just five miles from Gillette Stadium.

He'll keep the temporary names as long as the Patriots are in the playoffs.
