ANNVILLE, Pa. – Senior Morgan Miller registered a hat trick and an assist Wednesday to help Lebanon Valley easily defeat Widener 8-0 on Senior Day at Lebanon Valley College.
While the win doesn't clinch a playoff spot, it puts the Dutchmen (9-6-1, 5-2-1 CC) in a position to make the conference tournament with a win or tie in the final match of the regular season Saturday at Arcadia.
Miller notched a pair of goals in the sixth and 21st minutes of the match. Miller struck for her third and final time nearly four minutes in the second half on a shot over the keeper off a cross from Amanda Douglass.
The Dutchmen outshot the Pride (5-10-1, 2-6), 35-15.
