YORK -- Three senior basketball players at New Hope Academy are ready for a new chapter in their lives.
Rasaun Mosley will join the basketball program at Pitt-Johnstown, while Jalin Williams will attend Albright College, the school recently announced.
The 6-5 Mosley was named third team all-state in Class A in March; the first-ever player from New Hope to be honored by The Associated Press. He plans on majoring in civil engineering in college.
"I knew from the minute I met him that he's got goals and aspirations and he's going to meet them, no matter what gets in his way," said head basketball coach Anthony Hall of Mosley, who averaged 16 points a game.
"This is a very proud day for the New Hope family."
Williams is undecided on a major.
The Mighty Ants finished the 2011-12 season with a record of 18-9. Anthony Morgan, another 6-5 senior forward, will also play basketball at McDaniel College.
