HARRISBURG -- Former Penn State Harrisburg star Kenton Alston has earned a tryout with the NBA's Development League.

The recent grad will tryout in Philadelphia for the Sioux Falls Skyforce on Saturday, October 6, according to PSU Harrisburg's athletics department. If Alston plays well enough, he could be invited to the Skyforce's training camp.

Alston, a graduate of Steel-High, is PSU Harrisburg's all-time leader in points scored, rebounds and blocked shots.

He was named Penn State Harrisburg's male student-athlete of the year in the spring of 2012.

Alston finished his senior season ranked ninth in the country in blocked shots per game in NCAA Division III play and was a two-time North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) first-team all-conference selection.
