HARRISBURG -- The Bowie Baysox buried Harrisburg 7-2 on Monday at Metro Bank Park in the Senators' final game of the 2012 season.

Top prospect Anthony Rendon homered with two outs in the ninth and Justin Bloxom followed with another homer. It was the third time this season that Harrisburg has hit back-to-back home runs.

Harrisburg finishes its season 64-78 and misses the playoffs for the first time in three seasons. The Senators were 28-42 in the second half. Bowie will open the Western Division Championship Series on Wednesday at home against Akron.

Bowie scored two in the seventh; as well as single runs in the eighth and ninth innings to break open the game.

Harrisburg's offense managed just a pair of two-out singles in the first and in the second until the back-to-back home runs in the ninth. Rendon and Seth Bynum had the two singles.
