HARRISBURG -- Shippensburg offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich is going to the Big 12.
Yurcich has been hired as the new offensive coordinator at Oklahoma State, Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy announced Thursday on his Twitter feed.
Yurcich was the architect of a Shippensburg offense that set 55 school records this season and produced the school's first-ever Harlon Hill Trophy winner, quarterback Zach Zulli.
He replaces Todd Monken, who left the Cowboys to become the new head coach at Southern Mississippi.
Before coming to Shippensburg, Yurcich, a native of Euclid, Ohio, spent the previous six seasons (2005-10) at Edinboro University as its quarterbacks coach and spent the final five years as offensive coordinator.
