Golf General Information

About tee times
If you thought making a doctor's appointment was hard, you should try getting a tee time at one of the major golf resorts. Reservations are often made many months in advance.
Choosing a course
The official rules of golf include very specific standards for the size and weight of clubs and balls, but don't say anything about what constitutes a course.
Driving a golf cart
Walking around an 18-hole course is a great way to get exercise. If you feel that you have to use a golf cart, however, there are plenty of choices. There are gas or electric models that range from simple to elaborate.
Golfing etiquette
Golf was introduced in Scotland about 250 years ago. As you can imagine, quite a few rules of golfing behavior have developed over the years. Many of them are based on a common-sense principle: don't hurt anybody.
