UPDATE:
31-year-old Jason Roland Madden of Liverpool and 42-year-old Keith A. Kerlin of Mifflin were killed in the accident.

State Police in Perry County say two people were killed in an early morning crash.
It happened just after one this morning in the Eastbound lanes of RouteS 22/322 near the Newport exit in Greenwood Township.
Troopers say a vehicle going the wrong way slammed into an oncoming car head-on, then rolled into the median and caught fire, trapping the driver inside.
The other driver was thrown from their car.
Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
State Police aren't releasing the victims' names at this time.

It happened just after one this morning in the Eastbound lanes of Routes 22/322, just west of the Newport exit.
Fire police had the Eastbound lanes of Routes 22/322 shut down at the Millerstown exit for hours; however all lanes were opened around five this morning.
Right now, all police will say is that two people died in a two vehicle crash.
More details are expected to be released later this morning.
