Competition held in Cumberland County highlights best retrievers in U.S.

They look like dogs, act like dogs and even sound like dogs.

But these aren't just any ordinary dogs, these are some of the most highly trained retrievers in the nation. This weekend they were in Cumberland County.

Frank Plewa is the President of the North American Hunting Retriever Association. He says, this weekend invitational in Newville is like their Super Bowl.

A gun dog is one that retrieves "game," in the case of one event, that would mean ducks. And yes, they use real ducks, to properly test the dogs.

Frank says, "We add as much realism as we possibly can in a fake situation."

It's an impressive showcase of skills, and the perfect example of dog and owner being in perfect sync.
