Harrisburg -- First Lady Susan Corbett announced a new initiative Wednesday to help at-risk students stay in school and graduate.

It's called the early warning system, part of the First Lady's ‘Opening Doors Initiative,’ which is designed to help educators identify middle school students who are at-risk to failing out.

The students will then be matched with certain resources to address their problems.

Lancaster and Harrisburg School Districts are two of the four districts piloting this program.

The ‘Opening Doors Initiative’ has a goal of raising the high school graduation rate to 90 percent by 2020.
