Guns, drugs seized from two York homes

The York City Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at a home on Manor Street on October 10th and seized several guns and drugs.

Police say Edwin Toledo, 20, was charged with possession with the intent to deliver heroin and delivery of heroin. Officers seized $900 in heroin from Toledo's home as well as a Bersa .380 semi-automatic handgun and an unmarked .357 revolver.

On October 11th, the Narcotics Unit executed another search warrant at a home on South Penn Street. Police say Shaheim Carr, 19, and Saquana Layer, 23, were charged with possession with the intent to deliver cocaine, possession with the intent to deliver heroin, receiving stolen property (handgun), possession of marijuana and conspiracy. 

Carr was also charged with two counts of delivery of heroin and was arrested for an outstanding robbery warrant. 

Officers seized $2,200 in heroin, $430 in crack cocaine, $25 in marijuana, $1,000 in U.S. Currency, a Kalashinikov .22 AK style rifle, a Ruger 9 MM semi-automatic handgun, a Taurus .45 semi-automatic handgun (stolen), a Beretta .40 semi-automatic handgun, a Star 9MM semi-automatic handgun, and a Hi-Point .45 semi-automatic handgun.
