A Lebanon County man is facing charges after allegedly calling in a bomb threat to the Dauphin County Court House.

State Police say William Martin Vancise, 21, of Lebanon allegedly called state Police in Jonestown around 10:00 p.m. and indicated that a bomb was placed and set to detonate at the Dauphin County Court House in Harrisburg.

Police say Vancise provided a description of the device and a detonation time. He allegedly told police he built the bomb and had a friend place it at the court house.

Police say the Dauphin County Court House and the Harrisburg Police Department buildings were evacuated and searched by bomb sniffing dogs.

Vancise was arrested by Lebanon City Police and was interviewed by police. Officers say during the interview, Vancise admitted the threat was false and entirely made up.

He is charged with felony terroristic threats and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
