HARRISBURG -- A Harrisburg-area man was charged with reckless endangerment Tuesday for an incident in which he allegedly pulled a knife on someone at Sam's Club and then tried to run the person over with his car.

The incident occurred July 13, when Russell Hulstine, no age given, pulled the knife on another man in the parking lot of Sam's Club, 6781 Grayson Road, around 1:40 p.m.

When police arrived at the store, they found Hulstine had been swinging the knife back and forth at the other man as he retreated. Hulstine apparently was reacting to an argument the two men had been having over a parking situation.

As the victim tried to get Hulstine's plate number, Hulstine placed his vehicle in reverse and backed up suddenly, grazing the man's leg as he tried to get out of the way.

Hulstine then put the car in gear and tried to strike the man with the front of the vehcile as he was leaving the parking lot.

He was arraigned Tuesday on charges of simple assault and recklessly endangering another person.Man arraigned Tuesday in July incident in Sam's Club parking lot involving a knife
