A Lancaster County man is facing charges after a road rage incident involving a gun.

On March 8th, East Lampeter Township Police were called to a road rage incident at the intersection of New Holland Pike and Geist Road.  The victim told police that he was traveling west on New Holland Pike when a Honda Civic, with one headlight on high beam, closed in behind him.

The victim told police that the vehicle then attempted to pass four other vehicles but could not because of oncoming traffic. The suspect then cut the victim off when it got back into the westbound lane.

Police say traffic stopped at the intersection with Giest Road for a traffic signal. The victim told police that he walked up to the vehicle that passed him, and the driver allegedly pointed a black handgun at the victim's face and threatened him.

Manheim Township Police located the suspect on Lititz Pike.

Police say the driver, Jovan Caldwell, 21, was charged with simple assault, terroristic threats, and careless driving.

Police say Caldwell had a infant passenger in the vehicle. A black replica pellet handgun was found in the passenger compartment of the vehicle.

Caldwell was taken to Lancaster County Prison on $25,000 bail. Man arrested after road rage incident involving gun
