Three row homes in Harrisburg are heavily damaged following a 3-alarm fire. But for one resident, all was not lost.

CBS 21 News was there for one resident's happy reunion.

Police told Elijah Banton to not go searching for his lost dog, King. But Banton says, he had no choice.

"I just got him a couple of days ago. This was the only thing I was worried about. I didn't listen to the policemen, they told me not to go out wandering, but I had to know if my dog was alright"

Elijah Banton was reunited with his dog. He tells us King is okay and just has a little limp.

Flames broke out just after 11 Monday night in the 2500 block of Agate Street.

Officials say the fire started in a vacant home and then spread. We're told everyone made it out safely.

Right now, officials are investigating a cause of the fire.
