Two arrested for entering into home, trying to steal to support drug addiction

Mount Joy -- Police have arrested two men after the property owner watched them enter a house he owned.

On Sunday, September 22 just before 2 p.m., Bradley Adams, 22 of Marietta and Jeremy Hartman, 22 of Mount Joy, entered a home on Old Line Road in Rapho Township.

The owner of the home confronted the suspects, but was unable to stop them. 

After a brief search, police found Adams and Hartman hiding in the basement of a home in Mount Joy.  Hartman admitted to his role in the burglary, Adams refused to speak.

Both reported having problems with drug use and said that was why they needed the money.

They are both face several charges including burglary and criminal trespassing. 

Mount Joy Borough and Susquehanna Regional Police assisted Manheim Police with the arrest.
