CAMP HILL -- Parents in Cumberland County are holding their children tighter Friday after two separate possible child abduction cases.

Just after noon Friday, Silver Spring Township Police report a 12-year-old boy was almost lured into a van by two men. Quick thinking, police say the boy ran to a nearby friends' home after being approached on Ridge Hill Road near Cumberland Estates.

Police are looking for two white males. The driver is said to be in his 30s, while the passenger was a younger man in his 20s with a scruffy beard.

According to police, the two were riding in a white work van with red and black lettering. The boy told police he say a ladder on top of the van.

Anyone with information regarding this matter is urged to contact Officer Keen with Silver Spring Township Police at 697-0607 ext. 2004.

Meanwhile, just miles away on April Street, police in Camp Hill announced charges Friday afternoon against Sean Mitchell Bronner, 21, of New Cumberland.

Those charges were filed after a 13-year-old girl said a man was driving past her in a vehicle with Tennessee tags allegedly saying,  "Hey baby, come on in the car. and I'll take you home."

Bronner will be charged with disorderly conduct.

The girl reported another incident not too long afterwards of another approach by a 22-year-old man. In an investigation, police discovered the man had autism spectrum disorder and no charges were filed.

However, police reported the man will seek counseling following the investigation. Camp Hill Police say the incidents were not related.
