Groups nationwide are remembering the victims of 9/11 on Wednesday.

One group traveling to our nation's capital came through our area.

The "Two Million Bikers to D.C." rally may have started as a nationwide movement to protest what has been called a "Million Muslim March on 9/11."

But regardless of how it really started, the bikers who gathered this morning in Harrisburg say for them, it's about the victims of 9/11.

In fact we found out barely any of the bikers we met up with Wednesday morning knew each other.

They said each state had a Facebook page and that's how they all got connected with meeting locations.

One rider, Steve Pinchini of Harrisburg, said as a veteran this was a personal ride.

"I spent 24 years in the military. 9/11 is a very important day for all of us, one that we can never forget like Pearl Harbor. We can never forget something that affected many of us and the people of 9/11 too. We have to remember what's most important right now. Those perished on that day and those who continue to fight."
