UPDATED 9:45 P.M. -- Tuesday afternoon a decomposing body of a man was pulled from a car sitting in a church parking lot near the 1300 block of North George Street in York.

NORTH YORK -- Police are still investigating a body found inside a car in North York today.

The body was found inside a white Nissan Maxima. Neighbors tell CBS 21 that the car has not moved in weeks.

The body appeared to have been decomposing for several days.

Police are clearing the scene at this time and will not comment, saying only that a news release will be sent out later.

At this time no one is saying where in the car the body was found, but judging from evidence on scene, it is believed the body was in the front seat.  UPDATE: Police investigating dead body found in car in York Co.
