York Co. man sentenced to 22 years in prison for drug trafficking

A York County man was sentenced to 22 years in prison, for the distribution of crack cocaine and firearms offenses.

According to the United States Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, Omar Sierre Folk, 32, of  York was sentenced on Thursday.

Folk will serve 264 months in prison and five years of supervised release. He was also ordered to pay a $1,500.

Folk was arrested on September 1, 2011 after an attempted sale of crack cocaine. Officers searched Folk's home and found 144 grams of crack cocaine and a firearm. He was indicted in October 2011 and convicted in August 2012, for distributing over 280 grams of crack cocaine in and around York. 

Officials say he sold the drugs around York County from 2009 to September 2011.  York Co. man sentenced to 22 years in prison for drug trafficking
