A group of hearing-impaired students putting on a play done in sign language
An inspiring story out of Adams County where a group of deaf and hearing impaired students are putting on a play for DVD done completely in sign language.
The group, known as Wee Signed Stories, will be performing a series of nursery rhymes called The Magic of Mother Goose.
Every two years the group puts on a different show and learns the aspects of live theater.
Students make the props and scenery, all with the help of a local deaf artist.
On opening night, all the kids involved receive A-list treatment.
The show is free to the public and narration will be provided for the hearing impaired.
Showtime is Friday, April 26 at the New Oxford High School auditorium.
