Board of Governors approves 4-year contracts and raises for State University faculty
Big raises have been approved for thousands of faculty members and sporting coaches of Pennsylvania's State owned Universities.
The State System of Higher Education Board of Governors ratified four-year contracts that are retroactive to July of 2011. The agreements provide annual pay raises of between 3.5 and 7% for over 5,000 faculty members.
While 600 coaches will get raises totaling to 4.5%.
