Earlier this week, a plan to expand public sewer service in
Halifax Township, Dauphin County was placed on hold. Now, the group that has been protesting the plan for months is offering reaction.

On Monday, the Halifax Township Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to table any further discussion on its Act 537 plan, indefinitely. In a statement to CBS 21 News, Supervisor Chairperson Norma Shearer said the decision was made due to the economy's current effects on residents.
