Crash involving tractor-trailer claims life of York County woman
An accident that occurred around 9 a.m. on Monday in Manchester Township claimed the life of an Airville woman.
A tractor trailer driven by James Ginter, 29 of New Providence, was traveling eastbound on emig Road. A pickup truck driven by Kelly Lynn Schurtz, 44, entered onto Emig Road and collided with the tractor trailer.
Schurtz was ejected from the pickup and pronounced dead at the scene by the Coroner’s Office.
The investigation into the crash continues and anyone with information is asked to call Northern York Police at 717-292-3647.
