The Cumberland County District Attorney's Office, along with the East Pennsboro Township Police Department, will hold a news conference this morning following the arrest of a man who admitted to police of having a sexual relationship with a 10-year-old girl.
Police say last week they arrested 63-year-old Steven Brungard after he admitted to police the child sex abuse at his home along the first block of East Manor Avenue in Enola, East Pennsboro Township.
On March 6th, East Pennsboro Township Police obtained a search warrent for Brungard's home. The police department says Brungard admitted to video-taping the sexual encounters with the 10-year-old girl and paying her in cash for modeling with clothes and in the nude, while he would masterbate. The police document stated he'd pay the girl almost $120.00 for oral sex.
Police also say he confessed to having a hidden camera in the bathroom that would film the girl without her knowledge.
Brungard faces a slew of charges including having sex with a child under 13, prostitution and creating child pornography. He remains behind bars in Cumberland County Prison this morning.
Police spent the weekend investigating and ask anybody who may have information about the man and if he had contact with any other children to contact the police department.
