Two roommates fighting over wasting electricity ended with one being stabbed and the other in jail.

This incident occurred after a couple of roommates got angry with each other. The victim was stabbed multiple times, and it all started when she left a light bulb on and was wasting electricity.

The incident happened Monday evening around 7:15 p.m. East Lampeter Township Police were called to this house on the 2000 block of William Penn Way for an assault.

When they got there, they found that Nicole Wagner had attacked and stabbed her roommate, Amy Queen, with a spear. According to court documents, Wagner and Queen got into a fight when Queen left a light on in the apartment, which Wagner said was wasting electricity.

Wagner also told Queen she was going to kill her. Wagner now faces charges of assault and making terroristic threats.

Queen was taken to the hospital and released, suffering minor stab wounds on her hand, head and back.

Wagner was booked in the Lancaster County Prison on $50,000 bail.
