Gunshot fired inside York County Burger King
Police are investigating after employees of a Burger King say a man fired shots inside the bathroom of the restaurant.
The Northern York County Regional Police Department was called to the Burger King at 490 Loucks Road in Manchester Township, for a report of a weapon being discharged in the men's room.
When officers arrived, a manager of the store told police around 7:00 p.m. employees heard a loud "pop" coming from the men's bathroom. They said minutes after the "pop" a man left the bathroom and attempted to leave through an emergency exit. The man set off the emergency exit's timer and the male left through the front door of the business.
No employees or customers could provide a description of the man
Management inspected the bathroom and found a hole in the wall. Investigating officers found a spent 9 mm shell casing and recovered a bullet from the wall.
