Three weeks ago, CBS 21 news told you about a three-year-old Pitbull, Eve, found starving along the side of a road in Chambersburg.
She was emaciated and could barely walk. But now, she is improving.
On Tuesday, it was a warm enough day for Eve to be outside playing in the sun, even without her sweater. She was jumping and playing, which is a big improvement from a few weeks ago.
When she was found alongside the road, she barely weighed just 25 pounds, but now, she weighs 40.
Eve is under the care of the vets at Lincoln Way Animal Hospital. Her most recent blood tests show she's okay and on her way to health.
It's still too early to tell if Eve was abused, but were told she was most likely neglected. The staff asks for any contributions, for Eve, to be sent to the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter.
