Two inmates face charges after they got in a fight while in Lebanon County Prison.
Kenneth Salmon, 46, and Randolph Riesterer, 34, were cellmates at the facility.
Salmon grabbed and pulled on Riesterer’s beard, which Riesterer took offense to. Riesterer reacted and bit Salmon’s ear.
The bite resulted in a large piece of Salmon’s ear being torn off. The piece of the ear could not be reattached.
Riesterer was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment. Salmon was charged with harassment and also got a new cellmate.
