Police in York County say officers got into a standoff with a suicidal man over the weekend.

Carroll Township Police went to the man's home Saturday night just before 10 in the first block of Clemens Drive in Dillsburg.

That's when police say, the man pointed a gun at an officer and threatened to shoot himself.

Police say the man eventually dropped his gun, and was taken into custody and transported to a local hospital for a mental health evaluation.

Police say one neighbor was evacuated during the standoff, but no one was injured.
