Two sentenced to at least five years in prison for child’s death

A Lancaster County Judge sentenced two people to spend time in state prison for the heartbreaking suffering endured by baby Sanayah Colon.

Colon gained less than two pounds during her four months alive, and suffered 35 fractures to her nine-pound body.

Holly Steffy and Jose Ricardo Colon, the baby’s mother and father figure, stood by and watching, the judge stated.

Both were charged with conspiracy and felony endangering the welfare of a child charges.

Steffy faces six to 12 years in prison. Colon faces five to 12 years.
