U.S. Marshals arrested a man wanted for shooting a man in York County.

Authorities caught up with Carl Manners in New York City.

Police say On February 16th, Manners shot the man while he was sitting in a parked car with his four-year-old son in the 100 block of North Penn Street.

He’s charged with one count of attempted criminal homicide, one count of recklessly endangering another person and one count of aggravated assault.

The York City Police Department asked U.S Marshals to investigate. It was determined that Manners was being sought by authorities in New York on a state parole warrant.

The warrant was issued last year based on his conviction on drug-related charges. Marshals arrested Manners this morning without incident. He’s in jail waiting for extradition back to York County.
