UPDATE:
The suspect who police say forced them into a four hour standoff and led them on an interstate manhunt stood before a judge today. Beau Robinson is charged with shooting his wife at the Harrisburg Farm Show Complex back in Feburary. Today he told the judge he wanted to wave his rights to a premilinary hearing.
Beau Robinson commented on the nice weather as he walked into the District Magistrate's office in Harrisburg. He's charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.
Police say they have recovered the gun used in the shooting. And they have been told that Robinson's wife is doing okay and that she will survive her gunshot injuries.
Robinson remains in the Dauphin County Prison on $1,000,000 bail. His formal arraignment will take place in May.
UPDATE:State police are still searching for 62 year old Beau Robinson, who allegedly shot his wife in the Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg Friday morning.
This happened as vendors were trying to make their way in to set up for the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show.
State police tell us that visitors to the show will not need to worry about heightened security. They say this shooting was isolated and there is no need for heightened security at this point because it appears to be a domestic issue
.
Right now, this guy could be anywhere, they say, even out of the state.
Pennsylvania State Police say that around 10:45 Friday morning, just as the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show vendors were making their way into the Farm Show Complex, cops got a call of a shooting.
Jeff Rowland was one of those vendors trying to get in to set up. “It was distressing. We didn't know whether to turn around and go home or just wait," Rowland of Mellott Company explained.
Police say that 62-year-old Beau Robinson had allegedly shot his wife, in the parking lot. The SERT team surrounded an RV, thinking he may be inside, but when they realized it was empty and he was gone, their focus shifted.
They say he could have taken off with Austin or Ashley Barrett, all of them are from Springfield, Missouri.
The possible getaway car is described as a maroon 2002 PT Cruiser with Missouri registration UF4 TLE or a white 2005 Cadillac with the plate CA8T3V.
Police cleared the scene around 5 p.m. That's when vendors like Jeff Rowland were finally allowed in.
"It was unbelievable. That kind of stuff you see on the news but we were here live," Rowland remarked.
SD Outfitters Shane Dykster hadn't heard the news at all. He was shocked when we told him what had unfolded throughout the day.
"Wow! It's something you'd never expect to hear coming from the show,” Dykster commented. “Security has always been really tight."
Robinson's wife is currently at an area hospital being treated for injuries received during the incident.
As for the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show, it will go on as planned. Opening day is Saturday.
What was intended to be a preview of the Eastern Outdoor Show turned into something totally different after a tragic shooting and believed standoff in an RV behind the Farm Show Complex Expo Hall.
CBS 21 was the first station on the scene and arrived just minutes after a woman was shot in an RV, at 10:44 a.m.
Almost instantly there were dozens of law enforcement officers from several agencies including the State Police SERT team.
Police from a number of agencies were taking cover from the would-be shooter, police were also directing vendors who were near the shooting out of the area.
As more and more police arrived on the scene, we were even able to spot one gentleman running to safety with police. At the Farm Show, we spotted at least three snipers after the SERT team arrived.
Starting around noon we heard the police using bullhorns to try to coax the suspect out of the motor home. By about 230 p.m. they had broken the glass of the RV and were using cameras to look into the RV
“The guy won't answer his door and the woman won't come out,” explained vendor Zach Minnick of Dover. “The cops have assault rifles, they have riot shields, dogs the whole nine yards. We were right in the middle of it, they were like bunkered down around us as we're like looking from the windows scared as crap."
While police were working to resolve this situation behind the Expo Hall, vendors who came out to see what was happening were very concerned about how this is going to impact the show.
“Everybody has a lot of money tied up here,” commented vendor Patrick Elswick from Charleston, West Virginia.
By about 2:45, SERT teams had made there move with at least four officers going into the RV, only to found it empty.
That means that is assumed that the suspect is still on the loose.
Those who were nearby the incident state that the police did a quick and effective job.
At this point you can get out, but can't get in. CBS 21 will continue to keep you informed on this serious situation.
CBS 21 has learned that no one was inside the RV that was fired into. The Farm Show is currently on lock down with police searching the entire campus for the man.
CBS 21 will continue to provide updates of this serious situation as they become available.
CBS 21 spoke to some vendors that police escorted out of the area from where the shooting took place.
The guy won't answer his door and the woman won't come out,” explained Vendor Zach Minnick. “The cops have assault rifles that have riot shields, dogs, the whole nine, we were right in the middle of it, they were like bunkered down around us and we're like looking from the windows scared as crap."
There are reports of three shots being fire into the RV at the center of the stand-off.

From Kirk Clyatt on the scene -
So far much of the information we have is still incomplete ... One thing we do know is that late this morning here at the Farm Show Complex there were dozens of officers with guns drawn, the CERT team here and at least one ambulance on stand-by.
A person clearly had barricade himself in an an RV outside of the back of the expo hall.
About noon we heard police with bullhorns trying to talk him out ... We continue to see heavily armed police on the move.
We talked to a number of vendors for the Eastern Outdoor Show who police escorted from the area ... They were stunned and shaken by what they had seen ... One a vendor from Illinois told me had never seen anything like this.
My information is that police are restricting access to much of the Farm Show Complex and vendors setting up for the start of tomorrow's show may now be confined to the building.
Police have now seemed to have moved to a more forward position closer to the RV.
I had an unconfirmed report of a shot being fired earlier and it is still unclear if the person in the RV has a hostage or has just barricaded himself in the vehicle.
More as it becomes available.
