UPDATE: Former teacher found not guilty of sex assault of student
UPDATE:
Kimberly Larkin was found not guilty of institutional sexual assault. She was found guilty of corruption of minors and furnishing alcohol to a minor.
Larkin will be sentenced in July.
A former York County teacher accused of having sex with a student back in 2010 is now headed to trial.
Kimberly Larkin was expected to plead guilty yesterday, but changed her mind.
Larkin is accused of having sex with a 16-year-old student who attended the Paradise School for Boys in Abbottstown, where she worked as a reading teacher.
Police say Larkin had sex with the student in her car, at her ex-husbands home, in motels and in parking lots.
Police also believe Larkin gave the student alcohol and marijuana.
The trail is slated for the beginning of April.
