A man we featured in our "Wanted in Central PA" series in January of this year, is finally in police custody.

State Police say back in January of 2008, a trooper pulled over a suspicious tractor trailer on Interstate 81 in Cumberland County.

Johnny Smith Junior was behind the wheel, and the trooper found that he had a warrant for smuggling marijuana back in 2007.

Smith got away, but a search found 200 pounds of marijuana in the truck.

But on Saturday, State Police in Carlisle got a tip that Smith was in Mexico and trying to cross over the U.S. border.

Border Patrol took him into custody.

Smith is now in the San Diego Prison awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.
