Recap: Cal State Fullerton vs. Cal Poly

Fullerton, CA (Sports Network) - Kwame Vaughn tallied 23 points, seven assists and six rebounds as the Cal State Fullerton Titans made easy work of the Cal Poly Mustangs, 77-60, in a Big West Conference showdown at Titan Gym.

D.J. Seeley shot 9-of-12 from the field en route to 21 points for Fullerton (13-13, 6-8 Big West), which snapped a two-game slide. Jared Brandon and Alex Harris both poured in 10 points for the hosts.

For Cal Poly (12-12, 8-6), Chris O'Brien logged 13 points and nine rebounds, while Kyle Odister had 11 points. The Mustangs had been winners of three in a row heading into this matchup.

Fullerton outshot Cal Poly from the field in the first half, 55.2 percent to 33.3 percent, as it took a comfortable 40-23 lead into halftime.

The Mustangs brought their deficit to seven, 47-40, with just over 13 minutes to play, but the Titans put the game out of reach with a 14-5 run over the next six minutes.

Fullerton converted 14 Cal Poly turnovers into 22 points.
