Emmanuel Burriss went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI for San Francisco, who received two innings from starter Barry Zito (1-0).
The Giants scored six runs in the first three innings.
Ted Lilly (0-1) gave up five earned runs in two innings of work for the Dodgers. Andre Either hit a homer and Jerry Hairston, Tim Federowicz and Cory Sullivan drove in runs in defeat.
